From Portland

And in the Rose city I write and things seem to work, i've started work on a collection about this wonderful city, full of strip clubs, homeless men and woman, bars on every street and rain that dumps most of the year. i will post the story if no one wants to publish it, so until then i will sit at my window and watch the city move.

No news on the submissions, but I picked up the endless project again and I haven't thought much about not yet receiving an answer from the Melancholy Dane. Also, I submitted a short story to The New Yorker, which I assume will grant me a rejection e-mail.
